Job Description
WPWeb Infotech is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer with extensive experience in WordPress development as well as Team Lead or Project Lead. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including plugin and theme development. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building high-quality solutions for clients and internal projects, while ensuring the code adheres to WordPress coding standards and best practices.
Job Profile
- Develop and implement WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
- Build custom solutions for clients, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing WordPress websites and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to deliver projects on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
- Work independently and efficiently manage tasks to meet deadlines.
Skill Required
- Strong experience with WordPress plugin and theme development.
- Proficient in custom post type management, WordPress hooks, filters, and actions.
- In-depth understanding of the WordPress core and coding standards.
- Proficiency in PHP and MySQL, with hands-on experience using database systems.
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Good understanding of Git version control systems.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii, or Zend is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
