Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Quality Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to ensure the delivery of robust and high-quality IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for testing, a proactive mindset, and the ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Job Profile
- Conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, performance, and usability.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
- Perform regression, integration, and compatibility testing to validate application changes and enhancements.
- Analyze testing results to provide actionable feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency.
Skill Required
- 1-3 years of proven experience in software testing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with different types of testing (functional, performance, regression, and usability testing).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and propose solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages or test automation frameworks is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration.
