One of the biggest highlights of WordPress is its vast community and that really shows in the WordCamp events. These gatherings act as magnets, attracting passionate WordPress enthusiasts and professionals from all walks of life. Here, connections are forged, ideas are shared, and the future of WordPress is shaped in a collaborative spirit.
Every iteration of this event has been outstanding, but WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023 was something different. This time, WPWeb Infotech had the pleasure to contribute as the Platinum Sponsor, which, for us, made the event that much more memorable.
Although it’s said that the journey is more important than the destination, to be honest, sponsoring the event and getting this trophy was nothing short of triumphant.
A Great Time at WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023
Organized at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar University, held on Saturday, 9th December, WordCamp saw thousands of attendees, along with hundreds of international delegates, who held over 30 sessions throughout the day.
We had such a great time connecting with everyone from beginners in the space to the CEOs and stalwarts of the industry. The conversations that brewed from these meetings were fascinating, and we were in awe of the insights passed down from the legends of the game.
The whole team was buzzing with excitement all day. Whether it was organizing the games or actively participating in the sessions, everyone gave it all and made sure our visit was a roaring success.
On a lighter side, we also organized some fun little games to gather and entertain the audience.
Speaking of games, let’s talk about them.
WPWeb Games at WordCamp
One of the best highlights of our Sponsor booth were a host of cool games, like PicWin Fun, Memory Match, WP Quiz Quest, and Jigsaw Jumble.
PicWin Fun was simple. All the participants had to do was click a selfie in the frame on our booth, post it on their social platforms, and tag WPWeb Infotech. We had hundreds of selfies in the booth and everyone was so excited at the thought of prizes.
Then there was a Memory Match. We had compiled a bunch of software and products related to WordPress. The participants had to memorize them and fill out their guesses in a list.
Another game was the WordPress quiz. Everyone there was an enthusiast or professional of WordPress, so we thought let’s have a quiz. The participants had to answer a few questions related to their favorite CMS, WordPress and see how well they knew it.
Last but not least, was the Jigsaw Jumble. We had created a puzzle and jumbled up the pieces to see who could rearrange them the fastest. It was such a great trip down the memory lane from when we were kids and used to do puzzles all the time.
And nobody was as excited and enthusiastic about these games as our CEO, Mr Jigar Shah. Throughout the day, it was so inspiring to see him go around the booth and help the participants with the games.
Insightful Conversations and Meet & Greet
Every one of us at WPWeb Infotech enjoyed the insightful conversations and sessions from the experts. It’s always inspiring and motivating to learn from knowledgeable individuals and gain valuable insights that can be applied in our own work.
WPWeb Infotech is also currently on the hunt for some aspiring individuals aching to dive into this industry. We shared some of our knowledge and experience to guide them in a positive direction. Our experts talked to them about everything WordPress and explained to them how they could successfully create the best websites possible.

We even gave out swag bags, to make the participants’ time at the event more memorable. These gifts were a tangible reminder of the fun, knowledge, and connections forged during the event. This part of the day was one of the cherries on the top of what was a fantastic experience all-around
Not just the formal sessions, but casual outings on the day before as well as the post-event were special as well. In the pre-party, WordCamp hosted the dignitaries, including the speakers as well as the sponsors to a special dinner and event. There were some great discussions on what is to come with this outstanding platform.
Everyone had a blast at the after-party where the conversations were more casual and people got to connect with each other more effortlessly. All-in-all, it was a great event.
Needless to say, we had a great time at WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023, and can’t wait for the next WordCamp to be held in Taiwan in March, 2024!
