Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in QA and at least 2 years in test automation to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, and Azure DevOps, along with a proactive approach to identifying issues and improving test coverage.
Job Profile
- Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
- Write and maintain UI and API automated tests using Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD test pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Publish test results in Azure Test Plans and ensure traceability to user stories.
- Investigate test failures, report bugs with clear documentation, and minimize flaky tests.
- Expand test coverage across negative scenarios, role-based access controls, and end-to-end workflows.
- Execute tests in Docker environments and manage test data effectively.
Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2 years in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with Cucumber and BDD (Gherkin syntax).
- Strong understanding of REST API testing.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure Test Plans.
- Working knowledge of Git and Docker.
