About the Project
Shardeum is a blockchain platform with a rapidly growing global audience. As more users started visiting the website, the existing hosting setup became difficult to manage. Traffic spikes required manual scaling, and maintaining performance during peak periods proved challenging.
They approached us looking for a cloud infrastructure that could scale automatically as traffic increased. The platform also needed a simpler deployment process and a more reliable hosting environment with lower maintenance requirements.
We built a cloud-native architecture on DigitalOcean with managed services, load balancing, auto scaling, and Git-based deployments. The new setup provided better stability and made infrastructure management much easier.

Major Project Challenges
One of the biggest challenges was handling sudden increases in traffic. The platform needed to remain responsive even when large numbers of users visited the website simultaneously.
Manual infrastructure scaling was another challenge. Increasing server capacity during traffic spikes required additional work and created operational overhead.
The database also needed to remain stable as application traffic increased. Keeping application and database resources separated was important for long-term performance.
The client also wanted a simpler deployment process. New updates needed to be released quickly without requiring manual server management.
